Ms. Alicia trusted me to upcycle and revamp a garment that holds a lot of memories.

This is your classic spaghetti strapped denim dress that originally had the denim fray around the bust and and on the hem.

I replaced that with ruffled wax print fabric that has geometric motifs in it. I took in the waist, shortened the straps, top-stitched garment to marry the ruffles and the undertones in the denim, finally I reinforced the zipper.
